How to Install Youshd Widget Code on the Order Status Page of Shopify
This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of installing your own widget code on the order status page of Shopify.
Please note that this guide assumes you have a basic understanding of Shopify and have access to the necessary administrative privileges.
Step 1: Copying code from Youshd.
Log in to your Shopify account and go to shop admin (it’s yourstorewebsite.com/admin)
From the Shopify admin panel, click on “Apps” located on the left-hand sidebar.
Search for Youshd app and click on it.
You will be on the Youshd Dashboard. Click on Widgets from the left side menu.
Click Copy Code.
Step 2: Accessing the Shopify Admin Panel
Log in to your Shopify account.
From the Shopify admin panel, click on “Settings” located on the left-hand sidebar.
Step 3: Navigating to the Order Status Page Section
From the “Settings” menu, select “Checkout.”
Scroll down to the “Order status page” section.
Locate the “Additional scripts” text box
Step 4: Adding the Widget Code
In the “Additional scripts” field, paste the widget code you copied from step 1. It must look something like this
Step 5: Saving the Changes
After adding the widget code, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Save” button to save your changes.
Step 5: Testing the Widget
To ensure that the widget appears correctly on the order status page, go to your existing orders from Shopify Admin by clicking on the “Orders” menu in the left side menu.
Click on any of the orders from the list of orders
Click on the “View order status page” from the drop down menu at the top right of that order page.
Your order page will open up with the Youshd widget showing.
